 wonderful Cooper

wonderful Cooper

We had a nice visit today with our friends Tara and Darren. Cooper is their newest baby and we were very happy to see how he is thriving in his new home. Our llama Halo resides at their farm and had a fabulous suri girl yesterday. She is a little suri clone of Halo. I have waited a long time for a girl like that so I am pleased! Life is good:)

Maddie Moments

Maddie is growing up fast. We are very pleased with what an easy going, sweet girl she is. She fits in very well with the big girls. We hope to do preliminary health testing later this year with the hopes she will go on to be a mother too!She reminds us of our first parti girl Eden who just had her first litter of babies at Puppy Love Labradoodles.

Keely and Gambler update

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Well I received word from Heather at Hales Labradoodles that Keely and Gambler have mated. She will remain with Gambler until it looks like the honeymoon is over and then she will fly home. We miss her energy and enthusiam and didn’t realize what an impact she had on us until she left. On the bright side it has given us extra time with Maddie who is a very loving, gentle little dog who loves to be with people. I was convinced that Avalon was moping around missing Keely until I discovered yesterday that she is in heat too! It is not uncommon for females to get on the same cycle. Fortunately for everyone Avalon is taking a break until 2010 but we should have puppies again in late spring/early summer.
